Meaghan Martin overacts everything as Tess and doesn't deliver most of her lines right and even a 4-year old could tell that she was lip-syncing. The one you think will be a scene stealer is the most disappointing. MILD SPOILER!!! It's like we're forced to underestimate them but then later surprise u as you'll see, especially Renne Sandtrom who i hope gets more screen time in the sequel.

Aside from Demi, the other scene stealers are Tess' the Sharpay wannabe in this movie backup singers. She acts acceptably in this movie but its her amazing voice that makes her incredible let's b realistic, she could outsing Miley Cyrus anytime if they were in American Idol. band name in the movie story it's Mitchie's Demi Lovato. Relateable and she makes you want to keep watching the movie when the JoBros. I hope I U-turned your opinion for Camp Rock! I'm SO glad IMDb gives the opportunity for us to voice it! Because, no matter how hard someone tries to convince me,I'm not going to crack under the pressure of Disney haters. If they have the words "hate" and "Camp Rock" in the subject line, you KNOW I'm going to delete it. And I think I've said it well, if I do say so myself.You can send me the mother lode of messages if you want to, trying to fight your opinion as strongly as you can. Fans were expecting MAJOR entertainment, and Disney delivered a little TOO much! In a COMPLETELY AWESOME way!! If only Disney would've put it into theaters, they would've made a fortune on the movie! I can't wait to see the articles on saying: "'Camp Rock' Makes TV Viewing Breakthrough!" or "'Camp Rock' Estimated More Views Than 'Sex in the City' Premiere!" This movie was I'd have to say the most anticipated Disney movie of the year. 4 The public's reaction to the movie DEFINITELY supports my ideas. And THEN, there's Demi Lovato! A MAGNIFICENT singer, and a happy and spunky girl! PERFECT for the part of Mitchie! I can see both of them in a TV show or movie in the near future.
I'm a little iffy about when she becomes nice at the end, but she's still exceptional. Meaghan portrays the evil character EXTREMELY well. They also introduced us to some amazing actresses: Demi Lovato and Meaghan Martin. Renee Sandstrom from Life With Derek.Or was it Naturally, Sadie? I'm not so sure.One of the two. And, only Joe had a huge part in the movie, but they were all in it. Of course, most of you know about the famed Jonas Brothers. 3 It also had a good mix of familiar and unfamiliar celebrities. And, it also had its romantic points, like when Mitchie is on the boat with Shane, and when Shane is singing his new song to Mitchie. It had its high drama points, like when Tess uncovers Mitchie's secret and the effect of it. It has a balanced amount of drama, romance, and comedy. That's also another reason why the songs are a strong point: they inspire people. It also inspired me to sing in front of people. So afraid to tell the world what I've got to say." That's how I feel right now, because I think I have a considerably good voice, and I'm too modest to show it.
The part I can relate to the most right now, is "I've always been the kind of girl that hid my face. Yes, I'm in that crowd! For instance, "This Is Me" by Demi Lovato. They had a good beat, tune, lyrics, and, most importantly, some people could relate to them. But, the reason why it's so high, is: 1 The songs weren't cheesy or overwritten. Like I said, it has some faults, and that's why I gave it two stars off of 10. It is also rumored that it's a deleted scene, for those who were hoping for it, like me! Yes, that was ALL of my negative comments! Now, I'm going to talk about why I gave this an 8/10. For example, I heard a few rumors that Shane was going to kiss Mitchie at the end of "We Rock," but, it turned out that was not in the movie aired on TV. AND at some parts, I was disappointed in the turnout. But ALL movies NOT only Disney Channel movies have some of those scenes.
